When I first laid eyes on Tom Cruise's cabin-inspired ranch nestled in Colorado's Telluride region, it's fair to say I was envious. Featuring (plenty of) plush seating, wooden beams, and a rather impressive fireplace at its center, I instantly pictured myself nestled up beside the fire, enjoying the scenic views of the surrounding national park.

While (sadly) we aren't all blessed with a country retreat in the heart of a forest, that's not to say you can't recreate the timelessly cozy and characterful style of a log cabin at home. Fitting wooden beams might be off the cards, but with the right furniture and decorations, you can recreate Tom's laid-back and welcoming retreat with ease.

Tom's chalet-style retreat is effortlessly cozy and snug. While its beauty lies in the quaint architecture, the classic furniture (the Cozine Leather Armchair from Wayfair is a good place to start when recreating the look) and decorations transform the space into an inviting and homely room to sit back and relax in.

Tom Cruise's cabin-style living room is so inviting and charming. Its organic textures, warm color palette and vintage details make it a lived-in (yet still elevated) space that's perfect for relaxing with friends and family after a long day outdoors.
